CEO Message - State of the Union and 2010 Roadmap

GTX Corp and its subsidiaries unveil State of the Union and 2010 Roadmap

Los Angeles, CA (January 27, 2010) GTX Corp (OTC BB: GTXO), a leader in embedded GPS tracking real-time personal location services, unveils its State of the Union, market expansion strategy and 2010 roadmap for its family of global products and services. The Company operates through three wholly-owned subsidiaries in related sectors of the personal location-based market, specializing in tracking, monitoring and recovery of missing people, pets and high valued assets. Global Trek Xploration, LOCiMobile ® and Code Amber News Service each provide various interrelated and complimentary products and services offering technologies that seamlessly integrate with consumer life style products or enterprise applications. With the different targeted markets (business to business and business to consumer) brand names and media exposure, channels of distribution and overall reach and cross pollination through each of the complimentary product lines the Company expects 2010 to be a breakout year for overall shareholder value through new product introductions, revenue growth, partner activities and subscriber base increases.

All three of the subsidiaries are currently producing revenues and are positioned to grow and scale over the following eighteen months. Global Trek is selling hardware devices and is involved in multiple platform tests across world and anticipates launching in several new vertical markets in 2010, with the senior market GPS Smart Shoe on the horizon. On-going testing domestically and internationally is taking place with an emphasis in Latin America. The Company is engaging international markets through partnerships, bilingual staff and localizing its software platforms in different languages. The commencement of these steps has expanded the selling of hardware devices, platform tests and Apps, in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Venezuela, Bolivia, Guatemala, Israel, Nepal, Western Europe and Asia with several more countries and territories in the pipeline. The Company expects to see material growth in these territories in 2010 as marketing efforts, app downloads, brand recognition and sales, increase. By virtue of these efforts, future customers will become more aware of PLS technology and its benefits - the peace of mind of knowing where someone or something is in real time is invaluable.

Code AmberCode Amber News Service, the leading online news syndicator for the nearly 800,000 missing and abducted persons reported each year, recently launched the Code Amber Alertag personal ID service providing the Company with a dynamic opportunity to fulfill the universal need for emergency preparedness. In its first weeks from launch the product and subscription based service already has 101 affiliates of which 32 are in other countries and 20 non-profit organizations that have signed up to purchase and sell the secure ID tags. “The company expects to have over 500 affiliates and organizations signed up by year end,” said Bryant Harper President of Code Amber. The Code Amber Alertag is the second business to consumer product for the Company and while GPS tracking can answer the “where” question, the Code Amber Alertag answers the “who, what and when” questions first responders to emergencies need to know; connecting the dots between GPS tracking and secure ID solutions.

To support the growth, new people have recently joined the Company. Marc Klaas, founder of the non-profit KlaasKids Foundation, which has made his life a memorial to his daughter, Polly who was abducted and murdered, joined the Company’s Corporate Advisory Board. Bruce Reingold, a 20 year veteran in “technology sales” with notable clients including Coca-Cola, Visa, Bank of America, Safeway, Microsoft and MySpace.com has been hired to kick-off Code Amber Alertag sales.

In Q2 2009 LOCiMobile ® launched its first iPhone App and by the end of the year had 4 Apps across multiple platforms with iPhone and Android in the forefront. The LOCi GPS Tracking Apps have been downloaded in 61 countries with one app more than 50,000 times in its first 30 days from launch, garnering a lead slot in the iTunes social networking “Top 25” paid list. According to Apple, there are more than 130,000 apps currently offered in 71 countries with more than 280 million apps downloaded in December alone generating $250 million in revenue. The new Android Market place is quickly catching up with thousands of Apps being downloaded daily on the Android platform smart phones. Blackberry has also joined the space along with Nokia. Given there are 1 billion smartphones today with an estimated 4.4 billion by 2013, the enormous scope and magnitude of the Apps Industry and the success and media attention of the LOCi branded Apps, the Company will be accelerating its development efforts on this front and plans to launch over a dozen new Apps in 2010 across multiple handset and social networking platforms addressing various target rich markets.

On the partner activity and brand building front, AARP, in partnership with Microsoft produced a series of informative videos which aired nationally on broadcast and cable networks in January. The acclaimed series focused on the current and near-term technologies available to assist the difficulties associated with aging – in particular Alzheimer’s and its unique “wandering” manifestation. A segment of the AARP video focused on the patented GPS Shoe (4 minute mark) which is scheduled to launch in the consumer retail marketplace by Aetrex Worldwide beginning part of 2010.

“As we close out the last decade and take a minute to reflect and begin looking present forward, I see 2009 having been a tough year for many and I would like to personally thank our board, management team and share holders for weathering this storm and allowing GTX Corp to stay true and committed to being the better people finder. The Company has a robust horizontal foundation with multiple products, services, partnerships and global channels of distribution; and we see 2010 as a tipping point year for GTX Corp with you ®,” stated Patrick Bertagna Chairman and CEO.
