CEO's Message:

GTX Corp CEO Patrick Bertagna on the show Undiscovered Equity

The State of the Union for GPS is strong, even the President mentioned GPS in his speech last night.

January 26, 2011 - The novel and award winning idea of GPS Shoes to monitor the elderly with dementia is rapidly expanding into a whole lot more with the most promising outlook for 2 way GPS Tracking.  We are launching new products in new vertical markets, adding customers and partners, expanding our brand recognition and increasing our market share.

The GTX Corp With You ® brand is recognized as a premiere provider and as the voice and the standard in the industry.  GTX participated in speaking engagements at the USA People Tracking and Location conference and was recently honored at the Location & Beyond Summit with the Peoples Choice Award for the Most Innovative Connected Location Device.  Several of the 17 LOCiMOBILE Apps were listed on iTunes top 25 list and made the Android top 15 apps of 2010.  Clearly 2 way GPS tracking is garnering a significant increase in awareness and demand.  GTX Corp is on center stage of this emerging 13 billion dollar industry and with momentum on our side, 2011 looks to be very promising.

The Company’s social media index and visibility hit a tipping point with millions of website views across multiple web properties, blogs, social media sites and constant traditional media exposure through national and international press which contributed to greater industry awareness, brand recognition and more opportunities.  The Discovery Channel dedicated a full hour show to the Future Family: Life in the Digital Age, which featured the GPS Smart Shoe, a segment on the CBS Early show which talked about keeping children safe on Halloween using the LOCi GPS Tracking Apps, numerous articles mentioned GTX Corp’s technology including, USA Today, Forbes, Los Angeles Business Journal, The Star, Sat Magazine, Los Angles Times, World Market Media and in shinning lights in Time Square on the NASDAQ bill board announcing the Samsung agreement.

As the Company continues to transition into a commercial phase there is still a lot of work ahead in this young and emerging industry.  Very much like the early dot com days the vision was right, some opportunities ended up being very lucrative but the timing took longer than expected.  New industries take time to mature and rely on the development of an ecosystem.  This past year as the awareness grew and the ecosystem took better shape, consumers and businesses began to better understand 2 way GPS and how to best utilize this technology.  Looking ahead and by focusing on Customization, Localization and Optimization, GTX will continue to introduce new products to the market, with an emphasis on e-Health and apps for various mobile platforms and devices, from smartphones to tablets to TVs, while cementing new partners and channels of distribution both domestically and internationally.

Costs of Alzheimer's will touch 1% of Global GDP in 2010

Alzheimer's disease and other dementias are rising in alarming proportions consuming vast amounts of resources the world over, according to The World Alzheimer Report for 2010

The total estimated worldwide costs of dementia are $604B in 2010, with about 70% of the costs occurring in Western Europe and North America.

If dementia care were a country, it would be the world's 18th largest economy, ranking between Turkey and Indonesia. If this market were a company, it would be the world's largest by annual revenue exceeding Wal-Mart ($414B) and Exxon Mobil ($311B).

Dementia mainly affects older people, although there is a growing awareness of cases that start before the senior age of 65.  After age 65, the likelihood of developing dementia roughly doubles every five years. There is an urgent need to develop cost-effective packages of medical and social care that meet the needs of people with dementia and their caregivers across the course of the illness. Only by investing now in research and cost-effective approaches to care can future societal costs be anticipated and managed.

Nana technology is one such breaking concept. The term Nana technology, recently mentioned in Forbes, was coined, defined, and categorized in 2004 by Andrew Carle, an internationally recognized expert on aging, senior housing, and assistive technologies. A word play on the scientific field of nanotechnology, Nana technology is loosely directed to imply technologies for someone's grandmother, or Nana. Carle was the first person to advance the use of this phrase with a formal definition, and one focused exclusively on microchip technologies, with the end result of naming a new and distinct subset of the technology services industry. Some systems use different types of sensors to help monitor the elderly. Other devices include sensors to call for help if someone falls. There are also simplified cell phones and high-tech medicine dispensers available, and devices such as GPS enabled Smart Shoes can also help locate Alzheimer's patients if they wander off. “The GPS Smart Shoe is currently the only sound end-to-end solution for this increasingly growing problem” states professor Andrew Carle- George Mason University.

Recently announcing that the GPS Smart Shoe was selected as a finalist in the Most Innovative Location Device category of the Locations & Beyond Summit and the People's Choice Awards.

GTX Corp (GTXO) has been working on e-health GPS Tracking solutions which could prove enormously beneficial to wandering dementia patients.

GTX a leader in embedded real-time miniaturized GPS Tracking personal location services (PLS) was founded in 2002 and is based in Los Angeles, California, known for its game changing patented miniaturized GPS tracking device in a shoe and block buster GPS based smart phone apps.

The rising need for GTX Corp's technology continues to be influenced by the increasing numbers of elderly and those that are memory impaired, and so the epic battle of technology and illness wages on.
