Jordan Posell's Biography

Jordan Posell

Jordan Posell, as the Chief Operating Officer of ContentNext (parent company of news sites paidcontent.org and moconews.net as well as the organizer of events such as the EconSM and Future of Business Media conferences), is responsible for managing the financial, sales, HR, legal, business development, and traffic functions at the company.

Mr. Posell was most recently the CFO of Neven Vision, an image recognition software company acquired by Google in 2006. Prior to that, he was the Vice President, Finance & Administration for venture-backed GameFly, the leading subscription-based online video game rental service. Previously, Jordan has held executive-level roles at LivePlanet (a creator of integrated media entertainment properties), eToys (leading online seller of children's products), idealab! (technology and business incubator), Gemstar (video programming and interface technology company), Lone Eagle Publishing (entertainment industry publisher), and CS First Boston (global investment bank). He has lived and worked extensively in Europe and Asia.

Mr. Posell holds an MBA from the University of Virginia and a BA from the University of California at Berkeley. He lives with his wife, two children, and dog in Santa Monica, CA.
