Carlos Briceño - VP of Business Development
Carlos comes with 15 years experience in the wireless communications industry where he has held sales, business development and technical management positions. During this time he has opened new domestic and international markets, established distribution channels, introduced innovative products and developed relationships with companies such as Verizon Wireless, Telefónica Móviles, America Móvil.
Prior to GTX Corp, Carlos served as Sales Director for Internet Connectivity Group and led business development efforts in the Caribbean and Latin America for Anite Telecoms, a UK based company. Previously with Novatel Wireless, he expanded the customer base in the US, successfully established Latin America as a new regional market and launched the company’s first CDMA product in Africa. Before Novatel Wireless, Carlos served as Director of Technical Sales at GTRAN Wireless, where he led the introduction of one of the first CDMA wireless broadband devices in the Americas. His wireless experience started as a member of the technical team at CalAmp, where he obtained a US patent in wireless communications. Carlos is trilingual in Spanish, Portuguese and English, he holds a BSEE from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a MBA from Pepperdine University.
